Purchase FAQs

Refunds, response times, and what to do when a Rainey Day Ripz machine does not behave the way it should.

Usually you were never actually charged. A sensor watches the dispense tray, and if a payment approves without a pack dropping, the machine voids the sale on the spot. What is left on your statement is a pending authorization that clears on its own within a few days.

If it does settle, or a pack is still missing, report it here with the store name, the city and the date, and we will match it against the machine log. The refund goes back to the card you paid with. No receipt, machine number or photo needed.

We reply to every report within one business day. Once we confirm the transaction, the refund goes back to the original card automatically — we cannot send it anywhere else.

How quickly it lands is up to your bank. Most cards show it within three to five business days, though some issuers take a full statement cycle to post a credit. If it has been longer than that and still has not appeared, write back on the same email thread and we will chase it.

No — come straight to us. The business hosting the machine does not stock it, open it or process its payments, so their staff have no way to look up your transaction or issue a refund.

Reporting it here gets it to the people who can actually fix it. It also tells us that a specific machine may be misbehaving, which is how we catch a jam or a reader fault before it costs the next customer too.

Sealed trading card product cannot be returned once it is opened, and what is inside a pack is down to chance — a common pull is not a defect. Every machine stocks sealed product from current sets, exactly as it arrives from distribution.

What we do cover is product that reached you in bad shape. Every pack rides through the machine inside a rigid acrylic case, which is there to stop exactly that, and the case is yours to keep. If a pack still arrives crushed, torn or already open, or the machine hands you something other than what you paid for, report it here.
